Last year, our NGO successfully organized an Iftar program in Mogadishu, Somalia, during the holy month of Ramadan, providing meals to over 500 individuals, including families, orphans, and the less fortunate. The program not only addressed immediate hunger but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity during this sacred time. Many beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, highlighting how the initiative brought hope and relief to those struggling with food insecurity in a region often plagued by conflict and economic challenges. The program also created opportunities for local volunteers to contribute, strengthening communal bonds and empowering individuals to support one another.
Building on this success, we aim to expand the Iftar program this year and in the coming years, with a goal of feeding 3000 people in 2025. We plan to enhance the initiative by incorporating nutritional education, distributing food packages for sustained support, and partnering with local businesses and organizations to ensure long-term impact. This expansion will not only address immediate needs but also contribute to the broader goal of reducing poverty and malnutrition in Mogadishu. The program’s success has already attracted interest from potential funders, and we are confident that with increased support, we can make an even greater difference in the lives of Somalia’s most vulnerable populations.

2025 Food Distribution Program
Humaneserve Organization’s 2025 Food Distribution Program successfully provided essential food supplies to vulnerable communities, including internally displaced refugees and those in need.
